Luminous lines form architectural grids across floor, pendant and wall designs, giving contemporary spaces rhythm, structure and visual depth. Only at ShopDecor®

Flos | Coordinates

Light becomes a system of lines in Flos Coordinates. Rather than beginning with a conventional shade or diffuser, the collection builds luminous structures from horizontal and vertical elements, creating compositions that feel suspended between lighting and architecture. Designed by Michael Anastassiades, the family extends across floor lamps, pendant lamps and wall lamps. Each version uses geometry to establish order, giving illumination a graphic presence that can frame space without closing it.

A freestanding grid built from luminous lines

The Coordinates Floor LED floor lamp brings the system into the room as an independent structure. Slender illuminated elements rise and intersect to create a composition with volume but little visual weight. Unlike the sweeping gesture of the flos arco floor lamp or the directional presence of the flos captain flint floor lamp, Coordinates defines its territory through linear geometry. It adds a distinctive architectural voice to flos floor lamps, almost as if a fragment of a luminous grid had detached itself from the building.

Suspended geometry can redraw the space below

With the Coordinates Suspension LED pendant lamp, the same vocabulary leaves the floor and occupies the space overhead. Intersecting luminous bars establish rhythm without the mass of a traditional pendant shade, allowing the composition to remain visually open. This approach creates a natural dialogue with Michael Anastassiades, where reduction and carefully controlled proportions repeatedly turn elementary geometry into expressive light. Here, flos pendant lighting behaves almost like an illuminated drawing suspended in three dimensions.

The grid meets architecture at the wall

The Coordinates Wall LED wall-mounted lamp compresses this linear language against a vertical surface. The flos wall lighting can therefore contribute illumination while introducing a deliberate graphic accent to the architecture. Within flos wall lighting, its identity comes not from decorative ornament but from the relationship between lines, intervals and surrounding empty space. The wall is no longer simply where the lamp is installed; it becomes the background against which the geometry can be read.

One system, three dimensions of the interior

Floor, ceiling and wall give Flos Coordinates three different fields in which to operate. The freestanding version creates a luminous landmark, the suspension organizes space from above, and the wall-mounted design turns a flat surface into part of the composition. Across these variations, Flos Coordinates maintains the same disciplined vocabulary while changing its relationship with architecture. The result is a family in which light does not merely reveal space: it draws new lines through it.
