Designed by Konstantin Grcic for Flos, the Flos Nocturne wall lamp translates the architectural character of the Nocturne family into a compact Wall lamp conceived for sophisticated interiors. Part of the Flos Wall and Konstantin Grcic x Flos collections, it reflects a design language based on precision, proportion and controlled light, while remaining compatible with the Flos Floor collection for coordinated lighting schemes.
The family is available in Bowl and Cone configurations, giving designers two distinct ways to interpret the same visual concept. The Flos Nocturne W Bowl introduces a softer, rounded presence, while the Flos Nocturne W Cone offers a more graphic profile. Both versions are available in silver and black, allowing the fixture to integrate into a wide range of residential, hospitality and contract environments.
Direct and Indirect Light in a Compact Form
The Flos Nocturne wall lamp combines direct illumination with indirect diffused light, creating a layered effect that gives depth to the surrounding wall. Rather than acting as a simple point source, the fixture helps shape the atmosphere of the space, making it particularly effective along corridors, beside seating areas or as part of a repeated architectural composition.
A borosilicate glass diffuser softens the light and adds visual richness to the fixture. This makes the lamp an elegant glass wall lamp that balances transparency, material presence and luminous comfort.
Integrated LED Technology and Dimmable Control
An integrated LED source keeps the silhouette clean and compact while providing efficient illumination. The light source can be replaced by qualified personnel, supporting the long-term functionality of the fixture. Dimming capability adds further flexibility, allowing this dimmable LED wall lamp to shift from stronger functional light to a softer, more atmospheric glow.
The combination of the aluminium structure with the borosilicate glass, it gives the fixture the refined material contrast expected from a modern LED wall light intended for high-end interiors.
A Distinctive Presence for Refined Interior Projects
Used individually, the Nocturne wall lamp by Konstantin Grcic becomes a focused decorative accent; repeated across a surface, it creates rhythm and continuity. Its combination of direct and indirect illumination makes it especially effective as an indirect lighting wall lamp, adding visual depth without introducing unnecessary complexity into the architecture.
For architects, interior designers, hoteliers and premium residential clients, the Flos Nocturne W Bowl wall lamp offers a refined balance of material quality, integrated technology and sculptural identity. Its adaptable Bowl and Cone formats make the family a sophisticated choice for modern ambient wall lighting.
