Oiva Toikka gives Linnut a poetic identity in which portable light and sculptural form become a single decorative object. Inspired by expressive bird-like silhouettes, the collection brings personality to bedside tables, shelves, dining settings and hospitality interiors while remaining practical for everyday use. An ABS base supports a coloured polycarbonate body that diffuses the integrated LED light with a soft, atmospheric effect. Conceived for indoor environments, this rechargeable decorative table lamp can be moved easily wherever a warm pool of light is needed, allowing illumination to become part of the visual composition rather than simply a technical feature.

Portable illumination within Magis Lighting

Positioned within Magis Lighting, the Magis Linnut rechargeable LED table lamp in ABS and coloured polycarbonate combines cordless flexibility with intuitive light control. A touch dimmer allows brightness to be adjusted according to the moment, while approximately 6 hours of autonomy supports evening use without a permanent connection to a power source. Charging is provided through a micro USB-C cable and battery charger included, making the lamp easy to recharge between uses. The family includes Siiri, Kirassi and Palturi, three distinct forms that share the same lighting concept while giving designers different sculptural personalities to introduce into the interior.

Collectible character through contemporary Italian design

The design language of Magis emerges through the balance of technology, colour and expressive form. Linnut is not treated as a neutral lighting device: its coloured polycarbonate body gives the lamp presence even when switched off, while the diffused LED source creates a more intimate atmosphere after dark. As a dimmable cordless lamp, it works naturally in bedrooms, lounge areas, reception spaces and boutique hospitality projects where lighting may need to move between different surfaces. The combination of rechargeable performance, tactile materials and a compact footprint makes the family useful without reducing its decorative impact, offering a refined alternative to conventional portable lighting.

A sculptural accent beside Magis Tables & Low Tables

Linnut coordinates naturally with Magis Tables & Low Tables, where its compact scale can introduce ambient illumination without interrupting the furniture composition. Placed on a side table, dining surface or low table, the lamp adds a focused decorative accent while preserving the flexibility of cordless use. The three forms allow designers to select a single character or create a more expressive grouping across residential and hospitality interiors. Whether used as a portable LED lamp beside a bed, a rechargeable accent light in a lounge or a collectible object on a shelf, Linnut offers architects, hoteliers and design-conscious clients a distinctive combination of atmosphere, portability and sculptural charm.
