A graduate of the prestigious Politecnico di Milano, Mattia Cimadoro began his career in academic research, collaborating with Poli.design on projects ranging from interior to graphic design. He also contributed to the university’s teaching activities, sharing his insight in courses focused on design, drawing, and visual communication. These formative experiences helped shape his approach to design as both a discipline and a narrative medium.
Crafting Objects with Character
Following his academic work, Cimadoro joined ASPS design studio, focusing on communication and production for interiors and furniture. Since 2007, he has worked alongside some of Italy’s most respected brands as a designer at Rodolfo Dordoni’s renowned studio. His role there has centered around interior and furniture design, a realm in which his refined sense of balance and aesthetics flourishes.

Among his most celebrated creations is the TuTu cuckoo clock for Progetti, a design that embodies his signature blend of humor, simplicity, and technical clarity.
