Torbjørn Anderssen was born in Elverum in 1976, and Espen Voll was born in Trondheim in 1965. After graduating from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design and the Oslo National Academy of Art in 2000, they founded the design group Norway Says. Their early work earned them the prestigious Söderbergs Award in 2007. In 2009, they established Anderssen & Voll, focusing on creating products that range from lighting to kitchenware.
