ALESSIA GASPERI
Alessia Gasperi: A Playful Soul in Contemporary Design
Alessia Gasperi is an Italian designer whose approach blends function, imagination, and emotional resonance. Born in Trentino Alto Adige in 1987, she earned her degree in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano. She gained early recognition as a finalist in the international design competition “Un Talento per la Scarpa.” Her creative path soon expanded into product development, interior design, and playful reinterpretations of everyday objects.
From Simplicity to Soul: Her Design Philosophy
What drives Alessia Gasperi is the belief that design is more than form—it’s a response to life’s needs and dreams. She brings warmth and spontaneity to her work, especially when designing for children and families. Her talent lies in transforming simple shapes into expressive, character-rich creations. In her collaborations with Progetti, she has delivered some of the brand’s most imaginative clocks—where humor, color, and movement captivate both children and adults.
Clocks with Character: Icons for All Ages
Among her most beloved creations are the Progetti Time2Bee clock and Progetti Time2Bugs clock, joyful pieces that introduce the magic of time to younger audiences. With animated bees and bugs at the center of their design, these kids clocks make learning time a playful experience. In contrast, the minimalist elegance of the Progetti Long_time clock reveals her versatility—showing she’s just as skilled at subtlety as she is at whimsy.
Collaborations Beyond the Clock
Alongside her work for Progetti, Alessia Gasperi has contributed to projects in the furniture industry, including collaborations with Gyform. Her design language remains rooted in curiosity and empathy, always seeking to enrich daily life through smart, creative design. Whether for a child’s bedroom or a modern living space, her work adds meaning, color, and a touch of joy to every moment.
