Philippe Starck revisits the ceremonial elegance of the traditional candlestick through a lighter, contemporary language in Bon Jour Versailles Small. Designed for indoor use, the lamp combines transparent PMMA with a compact decorative silhouette that feels refined rather than nostalgic. Its Chrome/Amber finish introduces warmth and subtle visual depth, making the piece especially effective on bedside tables, consoles and intimate hospitality surfaces. The compact scale enriches the composition without dominating it, while the transparent structure preserves visual lightness. A dimmer is included to adjust the atmosphere from practical illumination to a softer evening glow, and the 200 cm cable provides useful freedom when positioning the lamp.

A decorative accent within Flos Table lights

As part of Flos Table lights, the lamp balances ornament with everyday function. Polymethyl methacrylate gives the body a clear, polished presence that interacts elegantly with surrounding materials, from marble and lacquer to timber, glass and textiles. The Chrome/Amber combination adds a warm reflective quality that works equally well in contemporary rooms and interiors with more classic references. The small format makes the Bon Jour Versailles Small decorative table lamp particularly suited to bedrooms, boutique hotel rooms, private lounges and reception areas where lighting must contribute to atmosphere without creating visual weight. Its balanced proportions remain recognisable even when switched off, reinforcing its role as a decorative object as well as a source of light.

Flos Bon Jour Versailles Small: heritage translated into contemporary form

The Flos Bon Jour Versailles Small table lamp expresses the refined material language associated with Flos, translating historical inspiration through transparency, polished surfaces and controlled proportions. Rather than reproducing a traditional lamp literally, the design abstracts its familiar silhouette into a cleaner contemporary composition. The dimmable function allows users to adapt the light to reading, relaxation or ambient evening use, while the 200 cm cable supports flexible placement across bedside, console and lounge settings. The result is a compact designer lamp that brings decorative richness without excess, making it well suited to premium residential projects and hospitality interiors where atmosphere, proportion and recognisable design identity are closely connected.

A refined dialogue with Flos Portables

Placed alongside Flos Portables, Bon Jour Versailles Small can contribute to layered lighting schemes in which fixed and movable sources create different levels of intimacy throughout the room. Its transparent PMMA body keeps the visual field open, while the warm Chrome/Amber finish introduces an ornamental note that can complement both neutral and richly detailed interiors. The Bon Jour Versailles Small modern table lamp works naturally as a bedside accent, a decorative console light or a compact focal point in boutique hospitality environments. With its dimmable output, elegant material expression and sculptural silhouette, the lamp offers architects, interior designers and discerning buyers a sophisticated way to combine classic inspiration with contemporary refinement, visual lightness and practical everyday use.
