The Flos Snoopy table lamp transforms a compact source of direct light into one of the most recognisable silhouettes in contemporary interiors. Within the design language of Flos, its enamelled aluminium reflector appears to balance almost effortlessly above a solid base of white Carrara marble, creating a deliberate contrast between visual lightness and material solidity. Designed for indoor use, Snoopy works naturally on side tables, consoles, desks and bedside surfaces, where its sculptural profile remains expressive even when switched off. Available with Green or Black reflector finishes, the lamp can introduce a distinctive chromatic accent or a deeper graphic presence, while the natural veining of the marble ensures that every example retains the individual character of genuine stone.

A design icon within Flos Table lights

As part of Flos Table Lights, the Snoopy lamp demonstrates how a compact luminaire can contribute to the identity of an entire room. Its broad reflector directs light downward, creating a concentrated pool suitable for reading, quiet work or atmospheric illumination beside seating, while the marble pedestal gives the composition reassuring stability. A touch dimmer integrated into the base manages ON/OFF functions and progressive brightness adjustment, allowing the intensity to change without interrupting the clean silhouette. The Snoopy marble base table lamp is particularly effective in living rooms, private libraries, boutique hotel suites and executive interiors where a functional object is also expected to carry visual distinction. Its familiar mushroom-like profile gives it immediate personality without relying on decorative complexity.

Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni: wit shaped by material precision

Achille Castiglioni - Pier Giacomo Castiglioni give Snoopy its enduring character through a playful relationship between form, balance and unexpected material combinations. The polished presence of Carrara marble creates a substantial architectural foundation, while the enamelled aluminium shade introduces a lighter upper volume whose proportions give the lamp its unmistakable expression. This contrast allows the Snoopy mushroom table lamp to sit naturally in both minimal contemporary interiors and spaces informed by mid-century design, vintage references or eclectic collecting. Rather than treating functionality and humour as opposing qualities, the design brings them together in a composition that feels precise, useful and memorable. The result is a table lamp whose personality comes from proportion and construction as much as from its instantly recognisable outline.

A collectible presence across Flos Best Seller and Achille Castiglioni x Flos

Recognised within Flos Best Sellers and closely associated with Achille Castiglioni x Flos, Snoopy continues to offer architects, interior designers and design-conscious clients a distinctive alternative to more conventional task and accent lighting. The Snoopy statement table lamp works especially well against timber, stone, lacquer, metal and richly textured fabrics, while the Green and Black finishes allow it to shift from expressive focal point to more restrained graphic object. Its direct light and integrated dimming make it practical for everyday use, yet the sculptural combination of Carrara marble and enamelled aluminium gives the lamp the visual presence of a collectible design piece. Whether placed on a console, beside a lounge chair or within a hotel suite, Snoopy brings together Italian design heritage, tactile material quality and a playful but carefully controlled architectural character.
