Konstantin Grcic pushes the Noctambule concept toward its most architectural freestanding expression with a composition built from three transparent blown-glass cylinders. Designed for indoor use, the lamp rises vertically through the room while preserving an extraordinary sense of openness, allowing furniture, artwork and surrounding finishes to remain visible through its structure. Available with three Low Cylinders or three High Cylinders, it can respond to generous residential interiors, double-height spaces and sophisticated hospitality environments with different proportions. The Noctambule 3 Cylinders tall floor lamp by Flos gains its presence through repetition and transparency rather than visual mass, creating an elegant vertical landmark that remains almost elusive in daylight and becomes dramatically luminous after dark.

Layered atmosphere alongside Flos Table lights

Combined with Flos Table Lights, the three-cylinder composition can anchor a layered scheme in which smaller local sources are balanced by a taller ambient element. Its transparent modules rise from a die-cast aluminium base, while opal optical silicone ring diffusers mark the junctions between the cylinders with softly glowing bands. This measured sequence gives the Noctambule extra tall floor lamp a clear rhythm without interrupting sightlines across the room. A foot dimmer provides continuous adjustment from 10% to 100%, allowing the installation to move from a subtle evening accent to brighter atmospheric illumination. The 1.8 m cable supports considered placement beside lounge seating, along architectural edges or within open reception spaces where height can be used to reinforce the scale of the interior.

Flos Noctambule 3 Cylinders: transparency engineered with precision

The Flos Noctambule 3 Cylinders LED floor lamp reflects the technical refinement associated with Flos, bringing blown glass, aluminium and optical silicone together in a composition that feels delicate yet highly controlled. The LED source can be replaced by qualified personnel, supporting long-term maintenance in premium residential and contract projects, while the foot-operated dimmer keeps everyday adjustment intuitive. Three High Cylinders create the strongest vertical statement for rooms with generous ceiling heights, whereas the three Low Cylinder configuration offers a more compact interpretation of the same modular language. In both versions, the illuminated rings give definition to the structure without obscuring the transparency of the glass, making this large statement floor lamp by Konstantin Grcic x Flos especially effective where lighting must contribute to architecture as much as atmosphere.

A monumental expression within Flos Floor lighting

Within the Flos Floor Lighting and Flos Noctambule collections, the three-cylinder version represents a powerful exploration of scale, modularity and visual lightness. Its elongated profile can define a hotel lounge, entrance hall or expansive living area while preserving openness around the installation, offering the presence of an oversized floor lamp without the density normally associated with large decorative fixtures. The transparent glass works naturally alongside stone, timber, metal and upholstered surfaces, while the glowing junctions introduce depth after sunset. Whether specified as a tall lamp for high ceilings or as a sculptural accent in a quieter corner, Noctambule 3 Cylinders gives architects and interior designers a refined tool for shaping space through proportion, luminous rhythm and contemporary Italian design character.
