The Flos Noctambule 2 Cylinders LED floor lamp builds a vertical composition from two transparent blown-glass modules, giving indoor spaces a luminous presence that feels substantial yet almost weightless. Within the contemporary language of Flos, the lamp uses transparency to preserve sightlines while introducing a strong architectural rhythm beside sofas, lounge seating or within generous hospitality interiors. The family is available with two Low Cylinders or two High Cylinders, allowing the proportions to respond to different ceiling heights and spatial scales. A die-cast aluminium base anchors the composition, while opal optical silicone ring diffusers mark the junctions between the glass volumes with softly diffused bands of light.

A sculptural vertical accent within Flos Floor lighting

As part of Flos Floor Lighting, the two-cylinder version brings greater height and visual cadence than the single-module interpretation while retaining the same clarity and restraint. The paired transparent volumes create the effect of a luminous column without the visual density of a conventional tall lamp, making the Noctambule 2 Cylinders tall floor lamp particularly effective in open-plan living rooms, reception spaces and hotel lounges. A foot dimmer provides continuous adjustment from 10% to 100%, so the atmosphere can shift from brighter functional illumination to a softer evening glow. The 1.8 m cable supports flexible positioning near seating areas, architectural edges or quieter corners that benefit from a defined vertical presence.

Konstantin Grcic and the precision of modular transparency

Konstantin Grcic gives the design its distinctive character by allowing the connection between the glass cylinders to become part of the luminous composition. Rather than concealing the transition between modules, the opal silicone ring diffuser emphasises it, creating a measured pause of light between two almost invisible volumes. The Low Cylinder configuration offers a more compact architectural statement, while the High Cylinder version extends the composition upward for larger interiors and taller spaces. The LED source can be replaced by qualified personnel, supporting long-term specification in residential and contract projects. As a statement floor lamp by Konstantin Grcic x Flos, the design achieves impact through repetition, proportion and material delicacy rather than decorative excess.

Layered atmosphere with Flos Noctambule and Flos Table lights

Within Flos Noctambule, the two-cylinder floor lamp develops the collection’s vocabulary of transparent glass and luminous junctions into a freestanding format with remarkable spatial presence. Used alongside Flos Table Lights, it can form part of a layered scheme in which ambient floor illumination is balanced by smaller local sources across consoles, bedside surfaces or lounge tables. The Noctambule 2 Cylinders decorative floor lamp integrates naturally with stone, timber, glass, metal and upholstered finishes, while the choice between Low and High formats gives architects and interior designers useful control over scale. With its dimmable LED, replaceable source and sculptural clarity, the lamp brings visual lightness, technical precision and contemporary Italian character to refined residential and hospitality interiors.
