Born in Switzerland in 1968, Jörg Boner, after a short training as a cabinet maker, studied design at the Schule für Gestaltung" in Basel. In 2001 he opened his design studio in Zurich and in 2003 began his teaching career, lasting more than 10 years, at the ECAL in Lausanne. His creations are always pictorical without losing functionality. In 2011 he won the "Grand Prix Design" career award, awarded by the Swiss Confederation and in the same year he obtained the "Best domestic design 2011" by Wallpaper magazine. During his career he collaborated with important companies such as Cor, O-Luce, Teo Jakob, Tossa, Stattmann, Veuve Clicquot, Wittmann, Schätti Leuchten, Wogg.
