STAUB

The brand Staub is founded in 1974 by Francis Staub in Alsace, a France region known for its refined gastronomy. Staub produces kitchen utensils among which its cocotte, which have become immediately famous; they are pots for low flame cooking made of enamel cast iron. The brand has the objective to create resistant products using high quality technologies; tradition and modernity are combined to make excellent articles. Staub is a trademark renowned all over the world, so much so that its articles are used by international chefs of high level. The Staub products are usable on all cooking tops, including induction cooktops. In 2008 the brand joins the German group Zwilling, producer of high quality knives and kitchen utensils.
