FRATELLI CAMPANA
The Campana brothers are two famous designers born in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Fernando is born in 1961 and after his graduation in Architecture he attended an Industrial Design course at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture. Humberto studied law instead and he approached to the design’s world only after being graduated. Their inspiration comes directly from the life in the streets and in the slums of their town. In fact, part of their job, is to stroll through Sao Paolo, looking for inspiration and new ideas . Together they took part to shows and international workshops with handmade products. In 2008 they won the price of the famous Design Miami exhibition, where they exposed the project “Diamantina”. Among the other Awards, we’d like to remember the George Nelson Design Award, Rivista interior, EUA and the “Museum of the Brazilian home Award”. Their collections have been included into numerous exhibitions of the most important museums, such as the MoMA museum in New York or the Museum of decorative Arts in Montreal.
