Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà was born in 1962 in Alcamo, Sicily, and shortly thereafter he moved with the family to the province of Brescia, an active industrial center in Lombardy. For 12 years he plays the role of senior project tech designer collaborating with high-tech companies such as Kawasaki, Mercedes and Artemide. At the same time he began his collaboration as a designer with prestigious realities in the area. Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà with ARTEMIDE S.p.A has been collaborating since 2008 and has created Pirce : a suspension and wall lamp that won the Good_design 2008 and Red Dot Award 2009.
