YOTAM OTTOLENGHI
Yotam Assaf Ottolenghi, born in 1968, is an Israeli-born British chef, restaurateur, and food writer. In 1997, Ottolenghi completed a combined bachelor's and master's degree in comparative literature at Tel Aviv University. Then, he moved to London to study French cooking at Le Cordon Bleu. Soon, Ottolenghi found work as a pastry chef, and eventually met the Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi. In 2008 was published Ottolenghi, his first cookbook co-authored with Tamimi. Nowadays, Ottolenghi is considered one of the most important philosophers of the kitchen, he is the co-owner of six delis and restaurants in London, and he is author of several bestselling cookery books.
