GIULIO IACCHETTI
From 1992, Giulio Iacchetti works as Industrial Designer for several worldwide renown brands of international fame, such as Alessi, Foscarini, Hastens, Magis, Moleskin and Pandora Design, just to name but a few. Innovative and visionary designer, he won the Compasso D’Oro in 2001 thanks to Moscardino, a multiuse biodegradable piece of cutlery, designed for Pandora Design with Matteo Ragni. The President of Italian Republic honoured him with the Prize of the Prizes for Innovation in 2009. Iacchetti exposed his works at the Triennale of Milan and then he dedicated himself to “Internoitaliano”, a project gathering several artisan workshops to produce Italian-inspired furniture. In 2014, he won his second Compasso D’Oro thanks to the collection Sfera, designed with Matteo Ragni for Montini.
