LOUIS DE LIMBURG
Count Louis of Limburg Stirum, second son of Princess Helena of France and the late Count Evrard of Limburg Stirum, was born in 1962 in Belgium and studied at the ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels. During his studies, he began to acquire his skills as a designer at the prestigious studio IDEA Industrial Design of Axel Enthoven in Antwerp. Back in Belgium after an exploratory journey through Africa, in 2017, he opened his own studio Stirum Design and practiced the profession of industrial designer in his private residence the family castle of Huldenberg, dating back to the 1820s. He also teaches industrial design at the College of Advertising & Design, a private school of architecture and design in Brussels. He then began collaborating with the company Serax, designing both lamps and furnishing accessories and designed objects for Villeroy and Boch, Eternum, Roche Bobois and Puiforcat.
