PIERO LISSONI
Italian designer graduated at the Politecnico of Milan in 1985, the following year Piero Lissoni opened together with Nicoletta Canesi the studio Lissoni Associati in Milan. In 1996 he founded Graph.x, a group empolyed in the field of graphics. During the years, his studio has developed and today 70 people work in it, involved in different fields, such as architecture, industrial design and graphics, furniture and product design. Among his most important cooperation, those with Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Fantini, Flos/Antares, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Knoll International, Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi, Matteograssi, Olivari, Pierantonio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Porro, Riva 1920, Sabattini, Tecno and Thonet are to be remembered. Very famous are his projects for the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, for the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem and for other hotels in Venice and in Tokyo. In addition to that, Piero Lissoni must be remembered for the renovation of the historical Teatro Nazionale in Milan.
