Designed for indoor use, its matt white aluminium body is paired with a polycarbonate stem and PMMA diffuser, creating a precise composition with exceptional visual lightness. Edge Lighting technology distributes the integrated LED output evenly across the disc, producing soft diffused illumination rather than a concentrated point of light. Within the contemporary language of Flos, My Disc brings a calm yet distinctive presence above dining tables, reception counters, lounge areas and refined hospitality settings where the luminaire is expected to contribute directly to the architecture.

Michael Anastassiades and the discipline of pure geometry

Michael Anastassiades reduces the pendant to an elemental relationship between a slender vertical line and a luminous horizontal plane. The circular form appears almost weightless, allowing the fixture to create presence without adding unnecessary volume to the room. This balance makes the My Disc circular pendant light particularly effective in interiors where proportion and sightlines are carefully controlled. The matt white finish reinforces the purity of the silhouette, while the Edge Lighting system keeps the glow visually comfortable across the diffuser. Rather than relying on decorative detail, the design draws attention through precision, scale and the tension between the thin supporting stem and the broad illuminated disc.

A refined expression within Flos Pendants

As part of Flos Pendants, My Disc offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional suspended fixtures by presenting light as a thin luminous surface. The integrated LED is dimmable from 10% to 100%, allowing the atmosphere to move from brighter functional illumination to a softer ambient level for dining, conversation or evening hospitality. The dimmable LED source can be replaced by qualified personnel, supporting long-term maintenance in residential and contract environments. A matt white ceiling rose is included, while the 3 m cable gives architects and interior designers useful flexibility across different ceiling heights. The My Disc minimalist pendant therefore combines visual delicacy, technical control and practical installation in one carefully resolved object.

Architectural continuity with Flos Ceiling lights

Used alongside Flos Ceiling Lights, My Disc can contribute to a layered scheme in which suspended and overhead illumination define separate functions while maintaining a coherent architectural language. Its broad circular profile works especially well above dining tables, meeting surfaces, reception desks and open-plan living areas, where the fixture can establish a clear focal point without interrupting the surrounding space. The My Disc flat pendant light by Michael Anastassiades x Flos integrates naturally with stone, timber, glass, lacquer and contemporary metal finishes, while the matt white composition keeps the overall effect precise and understated. For premium residences, boutique hotels, restaurants and design-led professional interiors, My Disc offers a refined balance of sculptural presence, diffused comfort and contemporary lighting technology.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0550/0793/6771/files/flos-my-disc-led-pendant-lamp-white-1.webp?v=1792062445
