flos-glo-ball-ceiling-lamp
Flos Glo-Ball ceiling lamp
Within Flos Ceiling Lights, the Glo-Ball C/W Zero brings the collection’s soft spherical geometry into a compact architectural format designed for indoor use. Its hand-blown opal glass diffuser creates a calm, evenly distributed glow, while the supporting steel structure keeps the installation precise and visually discreet. Suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting, the flos lighting fixture adapts naturally to bedrooms, corridors, lounges, reception areas and hospitality interiors where visual comfort and material quality are equally important. The Flos Glo-Ball C/W Zero ceiling and wall lamp offers the most compact interpretation of the Flos Best Sellers, while C1 and C2 provide larger proportions for spaces that require a stronger luminous presence.

Jasper Morrison and the purity of a luminous globe

Designed by Jasper Morrison, this Flos Glo-Ball reduces the lamp to an elemental form that feels familiar, balanced and carefully resolved. The opal glass is hand blown to soften the light across its entire surface, avoiding harsh contrasts and creating a gentle ambient effect that remains comfortable over long periods. This simplicity gives the Glo-Ball C/W Zero globe ceiling light a quiet architectural role: it can support circulation, illuminate a bedroom or add a serene point of light to a hospitality space without competing with furniture or finishes. The opal white surface also allows the lamp to integrate easily with plaster, timber, stone and painted ceilings while preserving a distinctive sculptural presence.

Flos Glo-Ball C/W Zero: refined materials and versatile installation

The compact C/W Zero format reflects the technical clarity associated with Flos, combining a steel support with a hand-crafted diffuser that remains the visual focus of the composition. Installed overhead, the lamp works as a refined semi-flush globe ceiling light, sitting close to the surface while preserving the depth and softness of the spherical form. Mounted vertically, it becomes an equally elegant wall fixture by Jasper Morrison x Flos, giving designers greater freedom to repeat the same visual language across different areas of a project. The larger C1 and C2 versions extend this flexibility to broader surfaces and more generous rooms, allowing the family to respond to varying architectural scales without losing its understated character.

A coordinated expression of Flos Glo-Ball and Flos Wall lights

As part of our Flos Glo Ball choice, the ceiling and wall family supports cohesive lighting schemes built around a recognisable vocabulary of opal glass, pure geometry and diffused illumination. Used within Flos Wall Lights, the same spherical diffuser creates a luminous focal point on vertical surfaces while maintaining the soft visual effect of the ceiling versions. The Glo-Ball C/W Zero round wall light is particularly suited to corridors, hotel rooms, private living spaces and reception areas where a compact fixture must provide atmosphere without visual clutter. With its dual mounting capability, steel support and hand-blown glass diffuser, the family offers architects and interior designers a versatile solution that balances visual lightness, tactile quality and timeless contemporary design.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0550/0793/6771/files/flos-glo-ball-ceiling-lamp-F3335009-zero-white-1.webp?v=1792061988
